Pedro Bhering participated in the meeting to formalise the Memorandum of Understanding between FIFA and the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO). Also present were IP lawyer of FIFA, Cristina Pinto, the BPTO's President, Jorge Avila, the president of FIFA,  Joseph Blatter, and the head of the legal and commercial department of FIFA, Joerg Vollmüller. The meeting was held at the FIFA's headquarters in Zurich, on March 05, 2008.
