The 133rd Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) will take place from May 14 to May 18, in the city of San Francisco, U.S.A. Founded on 1878, the INTA is an association with over 5,700 members, including companies and law firms from over 190 countries, devoted to the support and development of trademarks and related intellectual property, as elements of fair and efficient trade, both internally and internationally.

The INTA Annual Meeting is the largest and most prestigious meeting of the international trademark community, with more than 8,500 participants from more than 140 countries taking advantage of five days of educational programs, committee meetings, exhibits, social events and networking opportunities. Bhering Advogados will be represented at this important event by Pedro Bhering, Philippe Bhering, Alysson H. Oikawa, Christina Murly and Cintia Han.

Serving as appointed members for the 2010-2011 INTA Committee Term, Philippe Bhering and Alysson H. Oikawa will be participating in special gatherings for the Association’s leadership. Mr. Philippe Bhering will attend the meeting of the Discovery & Procedures Subcommittee of the INTA Enforcement Committee. Mr. Alysson Oikawa will attend the meeting of the Geographical Indications Subcommittee of the INTA Related Rights Committee.
