Normative Instruction No. 49 came into force on March 1, 2016 regarding Registration Certificates of Computer Programs.

Like Registration Certificates for Trademarks, Registration Certificates of Computer Programs will also become available in electronic format and may be dowloaded from the Brazilian INPI’s website.

The digital alternative will reduce the waiting period for obtaining paper certificates and reduce printing costs
