The French Association of the Intellectual Property (Association Francophone de la Propriété Intellectuelle – AFPI), together with Cândido Mendes University and the French Embassy, will promote on September 2, 2016 the II French-Brazilian Intellectual Property Seminar, during which the current challenges of Intellectual Property will be discussed.

At the Seminar, Brazilian and French specialists will discuss the recent developments in legislation and jurisprudence and how they impact holders of trademark and patent rights.

Partner of Bhering Advogados, Karlo Fonseca Tinoco, will lecture together with the Director of Industrial Property of the Peugeot-Citröen Group, Mr. Pierre Geandraud, about the topic “Legal Framework of Employees’ Inventions”. They will analyze business strategies for the adoption of practices to encourage innovation and to minimize risks to the involved parties.
