The new official fees of the Brazilian PTO were published in the Federal Official Gazette of September 26, 2019, through Ordinance No. 516/19.

Due to the upcoming implementation of the Madrid System, new charges were introduced to the traditional service list related to trademarks, such as the fees for (i) the division of a trademark application or registration in two or more applications, (ii) the certification of an international application, and (iii) the conversion of an international application into national applications.
