For the eighth consecutive year, Bhering Advogados’ German Desk has been recognized by newly released Chambers and Partners Global 2020, in both Brazilian and German editions.

According to the Brazilian Edition, “the firm boasts a dedicated German desk that is well equipped to assist German-speaking clients with intellectual property mandates”.

The German edition highlights that the desk “has several dual-qualified lawyers” and “acts for a number of German clients from the automotive and pharmaceutical industries on patent infringement and trade mark nullity actions” and that it “also advises German companies on trade mark enforcement and portfolio management”.

Philippe Bhering, who heads the firm’s German desk, was recognized for the eighth consecutive year as a foreign expert for Germany. According to the publication, “He is an excellent lawyer and very flexible. Apart from this, his German is excellent”. The publication further highlights that “he is a lawyer who does high-level work and provides targeted advice, with a keen ability to understand complex issues, chart a course of action and execute it in a timely and responsive manner”.
